I am a highly successful and results-oriented U.S. Army Senior Non-Commissioned Officer with over twenty years of extensive experience in the planning, installation, operations, and management of information networks at the LAN and WAN level.
I will complete my military service on 1 Nov 2010 and my goal is to obtain a position within the field of telecommunications that will allow me to prove the skills, knowledge, and abilities that I have acquired throughout my military service.
My personal interests are designing personal websites, physical fitness, and Mixed Martial Arts. I have even taken my two favorite hobbies and combined them into a successful website that I maintain called MMASoldier.com. I am certified as a combatives (MMA) level 1 instructor, volunteered time to become certified as a level III instructor for the Army Family Team Building program and I have assisted in the setup and organization of the Special Olympics on four separate occasions.
Strengths:
Management and operation of data and voice network systems at the LAN / WAN level in situations where there was zero margin for error and considerable experience in providing timely solutions to meet critical communication needs while operating in a high stress environments.
My military career has provided me with a solid understanding of how high levels of success can be achieved utilizing teamwork and that respect for others and their beliefs is critical to the success of any task.
My growth in information technology and the ever changing requirements has enabled me to understand the necessity to follow the evolution of technology, understand the advancements, assess the needs based on existing or future requirements , and then implement these changes where necessary or directed.
